In the course of its work, Powered for Patients leaders have developed state of the art protocols to better protect emergency power and expedite power restoration. These are detailed in Roadmap to Resiliency and Protecting Patients When Disaster Strikes (see first two links below). In addition, Powered for Patients has discovered important studies that have already been conducted, as well as policy work from public and private organizations that shed light on the current state of backup power in healthcare facilities. Powered for Patients is pleased to highlight that work as well (see links below) to help advance the cause of safeguarding backup power and expediting power restoration for critical healthcare facilities.
