Research Hub

A key focus for Powered for Patients has been conducting research to identify gaps in backup power and assess opportunities to enhance the power restoration process for critical healthcare facilities. As part of this work, qualitative research has already been conducted with:

  • State public health officials
  • State emergency managers
  • Healthcare facility operators
  • Healthcare facility safety experts
  • Building Code Authors and Experts
  • Generator industry leaders
  • Utility industry leaders

Quantitative research is planned with these and other groups in the coming months, including utility companies and organizations representing the utility sector.
